Overview
Developed a strategic social media plan.
Built and launched CUA and VRCA’s Facebook and Twitter channels in September 2012, maintaining a consistent visual identity across all platforms.
Created collateral, including a flyer and an advertisement for the Great Prostate Cancer Challenge 5K Run/1 Mile Fun Walk in Baltimore.
Hosted a Twitter chat (#PCchat) to solidify Chesapeake Urology's position as a thought leader and innovative practice. We worked with Dr. Sandy Siegel, president and CEO of CUA, to host the #PCchat in honor Cancer Awareness Month. We reached more than 14,000 accounts within one hour and garnered more than 145,000 impressions on Twitter.
Created a Storify report to leverage the great information that was shared during #PCchat by industry experts and key influentials.
These are screenshots from CUA's Facebook page. We created several custom tabs, including a locations tab with all of the practice locations, a patient navigator tab, an erectile dysfunction tab and a clinical trails tab. We also included CUA's YouTube and Twitter channels on separate tabs.

These are screenshots from VRCA's Facebook page. We created several custom tabs, including a tab highlighting the physicians, success stories, a locations tab and linked to the YouTube and Twitter channels.

These are screenshots of the Twitter accounts we created for CUA and VRCA.

These are screenshots of CUA's YouTube channel. We integrated the YouTube content into both Facebook pages and worked with the practice to upload new content and optimize existing videos.

Prostate Cancer Twitter Chat
MCG also worked with Chesapeake Urology to host a prostate cancer Twitter chat (#PCchat) for Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, with Dr. Sanford J. Siegel, president and CEO of CUA, as the moderator. Many members of the Large Urology Group Practice Association, of which Chesapeake Urology is a member, and other industry experts participated. Through this chat, we reached more than 14,000 accounts within one hour and garnered more than 145,000 impressions. We leveraged the information in the chat by creating a Storify report.
