Legislative
I worked with coalition members to coordinate letters campaigns for legislative issues that would threaten the success of the program.
We addressed issues such as the Independent Payment Advisory Board (IPAB), mandatory rebates and changing the "noninterference" clause in Medicare Part D.
Message Development
I distilled complex information to provide patients with concise information about ongoing legislative changes to the Part D program.
We provided members with informational sheets they could use to educate others about the benefits of Medicare Part D.

Social Media
We launched a Facebook and Twitter account for the coalition to engage with social media, as well as provide Medicare Part D information to seniors. We also hosted two luncheon webinars for our members. For these events, we brought in expert guest speakers that shared information about the factors affecting health care in our country and the development of new treatments.
